A prayer on one depressing day......

Dear God, please find me a boyfriend…
Life suddenly seems so bleak… what’s with the petrol hike and all…
I can no longer frolic as I please… For distance will consume me…
Bless him with a license… and of course with a car, and a less petrol – consuming one while You’re at that…
Make him a nice guy…
A gentleman he is, he’ll never ask to split…
Who’ll drive me anywhere, everywhere...
The one who won’t complain…
The one who’ll bear the traffic jam… and slowpokes included too…

Dear God… Please find me a boyfriend…
One with a penchant for finery…
And money flowing free…
So that I’ll have no worry…
When I want to eat for free…
And for doorstep delivery…

With a thing for watching movies…
One that would sit still and quiet throughout the show…
One who will obediently silent his phone…
One who would even watch chick – flit and comedy…
One who dislike popcorn but would still buy one to share…
And of course, will pay for all…
